Soaking in Ecstasy with Sadhguru: A Transformational Gathering in Toronto
Reported by Ascend Jiva Media | May 26, 2025
“When the heart bows in silence, even the stars listen.”
On May 24, 2025, Toronto’s Metro Toronto Convention Centre became a living yantra—an energized vortex—as thousands gathered for Soak in the Ecstasy of Enlightenment with Sadhguru. What was meant to be a few hours became an eternal moment for many, as seekers melted into a mystical wave of stillness, laughter, silence, poetry, and tears.
The energy was palpable. From the moment Sadhguru walked onto the stage, the atmosphere transformed. Not a spiritual discourse in the conventional sense, the evening unfolded more like a direct transmission—something you didn’t just hear, but experienced with your entire being.
A Warm Welcome from Every Heart
The moment you stepped into the venue, you felt it.
Peace. Presence. Pure love.
Each Isha volunteer greeted you with folded hands and a sincere Namaskaram, offering not just directions, but devotion. Their gentle smiles, quiet confidence, and selfless service turned every hallway into a sacred path. These weren’t just volunteers, they were instruments of space, silently weaving a fabric of reverence.
The check-in process flowed like water—smooth, respectful, and elegant. It felt like coming home. Even before the program began, the energy was already building.
Creating a Temple in the Midst of a City
The convention center was transformed.
Stalls brimmed with rudraksha malas, Sadhguru’s books, consecrated copper vessels, herbal wellness items, and sacred symbols. Each offering invited us to live more consciously, more truthfully, and more soulfully.
People browsed quietly, not shopping, but listening—feeling drawn to what their soul whispered they needed. Conversations were soft. Eyes met in silent understanding. This wasn’t a crowd—it was a community.
When Ecstasy Took the Stage
As the lights dimmed and initial instructions began, the crowd stilled in anticipation.
And then… he walked in.
Sadhguru entered not with fanfare, but with force—a presence so profound that tears rose in many eyes before a word was spoken. Some stood frozen, hands folded. Others sat still, overwhelmed by waves of emotion. The entire hall—once buzzing—fell into a sacred hush.
“Don’t make ecstasy an occasional visitor. Let it become your nature.”
— Sadhguru, Toronto 2025
His voice, both fierce and playful, invited us not to chase bliss—but to become it. In his presence, burdens lifted. Fear softened. Hearts opened.
Meditations That Set the Soul Free
The first major process was deeply releasing. Sadhguru guided us inward, inviting us to drop our stories, dissolve our identities, and breathe into stillness.
Some wept softly. Others trembled. Many sat motionless, their eyes closed but their inner world alive. These weren’t just meditations—they were purifications. With each guided journey, something old was leaving, and something pure was taking root.
More processes followed—each deeper, more precise, more tender. The crowd of thousands moved as one breath, one being.
“Being confused is not a problem—it’s the beginning of clarity.”
— Sadhguru
And in this space of honesty, the fog of confusion became a doorway to something real. Something eternal.
Mental Health, Love, and Processed Living
One of the most profound segments was Sadhguru’s message on mental health. He shared a staggering truth:
“Seventeen percent of people are diagnosed with mental conditions. But the problem is not always chemical—it’s emotional malnourishment. Too much processed food. Too many processed thoughts. Not enough love.”
His words struck deep. Not as criticism—but as a call. A call to nourish ourselves with presence, connection, and natural living. A call to return to simplicity. To love.
Poetry, Stillness, and Sacred Expression
Throughout the event, Sadhguru wove poetry into the atmosphere like a sacred vibration—not composed, but received in stillness. These weren’t poems for the intellect—they were echoes of consciousness.
He recited two evocative pieces from his collection In Love with America:
🌎 “America” – A heartfelt ode that goes beyond geography or politics, this poem revealed Sadhguru’s intimate resonance with the spirit of the land. As he spoke of the limitless possibility and longing that lives in the soil of America, the poem mirrored his call for inner freedom and exploration. It wasn’t about a nation—it was about a dream, an openness, and a yearning that exists in all of us.
💫 “In Love” – Simple, yet profound. This poem distilled the essence of love—not as emotion, but as existential inclusion. It aligned perfectly with Sadhguru’s message throughout the event: that enlightenment isn’t an attainment, but an erasure of boundaries. “In Love” invited us not to fall for someone, but to fall into life itself.
Each word settled like mist on the hearts of listeners. The room would soften into silence—not out of awe, but recognition. These were not performances. These were portals—whispers from a space beyond thought.
There were other poems too—some fleeting, some fierce, some feather-light. Each one carried its own fragrance. Yet in every pause that followed, there was a profound silence—not emptiness, but presence. A collective stillness where truth had just landed.
In the stillness that followed, there were tears. Smiles. And a deep collective knowing that something sacred had just passed through.
A Daughter’s Devotion: Radhe Jaggi’s Bharatanatyam Offering
One of the most moving moments of the night came from Radhe Jaggi, Sadhguru’s daughter and a renowned Bharatanatyam dancer. Before her performance, she addressed the audience with a piercing insight:
“It is in our identities and the things we make a part of ourselves that we find our suffering. If we are willing to drop this, life is a bliss of its own. Anand mein, anand mein.”
Her words were as liberating as they were profound reminding us that joy is not something we seek but something we are, once we let go.
She then took the stage, and her performance was not merely artistic—it was a spiritual offering. Every gesture, every rhythm was soaked in bhava (emotion), drawing the audience into a deeper state of receptivity and grace.
Purging, Awakening, and Kundalini Rising
As the evening deepened, something remarkable unfolded. People cried—not from sadness, but from a deep, soul-level release. It was as if lifetimes of pain, wounds, and limitations were being released in the safe presence of the Master.
Many described it as a spontaneous purging, as if their Kundalini energy was rising, shaking loose old karmas, traumas, and identities. What began as silent sobs became cathartic waves of liberation. And yet, amidst the intensity, there was peace—vast, steady, and unshakable.
When Joy Became Uncontainable
As the final segment unfolded, something beautiful happened.
People began to laugh. Cry. Hug. Dance.
Not because anyone told them to. But because freedom had arrived.
Sadhguru stepped onto a raised platform, standing silently as thousands looked up in awe. He waved, smiled gently, and just stood there. His stillness reached into every heart.
It was not the end.
It was a beginning.
A Living Transmission
“Soak in Ecstasy of Enlightenment” was not a workshop. It was a homecoming.
It reminded us that ecstasy is not a peak to reach—it is the floor of life, if only we peel away the layers of what we are not.
There were no complex techniques or doctrines. Just presence. Just Sadhguru—alive, aware, and transmitting dimensions of truth through every glance, gesture, and word.
As the night came to a close, time had dissolved, and so had the boundaries of the self. What remained was an indescribable stillness, a vibrant joy, and a taste of that “explosion of ecstasy” that Sadhguru calls enlightenment.
As the crowd slowly exited, people held hands, hugged strangers, and walked in silence. Eyes sparkled. Faces glowed.
“Something happened today. And I will never be the same again.”
— Participant, Toronto 2025
