What is Self Empowerment? Detox your mind, drop your ego, come out of your comfort zone to transform

Self-empowerment begins from within. Be like water, by taking on the form that the world has in store for you. Go within to discover your superpower. Be the most authentic and fluid version of who you are, as fluid water never goes stale. Detox your mind, drop your ego, come out of your comfort zone to grow, transform, and empower yourself.

Let's dive deep into my quote:

Self-Empowerment begins from within

What I meant is All Change Begins with a Shift in Consciousness. Life has a way of giving us what we want, and what we want is not uttered by our words. But by our consciousness and energy. When you change your inner world (Energy and Consciousness) Your external world, circumstances, and situations also change, and they cane in perfect alignment with your inner sifts.

Remember you are the caption of your soul. When you meditate, do the inner work, magic happens. Through fully encapsulating yourself in life force energy, and doing powerful affirmations in this meditation consistently, you will feel motivated to take leap of faith, you will gain even more confidence and through that confidence, you come to know that anything is possible and that the limits you previously experienced was all created in your mind.

Be like water, by taking on the form that the world has in store for you

Be adaptable to any situation. Every situation is different, and as such, demands a different response. What works in one may not work best in another. Don’t be constrained by any one system or doctrine. For example, you need a hammer to drive a nail, but you wouldn’t use it to remove a screw. You would use a screwdriver instead.

Go within to discover your superpower

Do the mediation to practice being a present observer of your thoughts, emotion and body. The present moment is the only place of power. It is the only place where we can spend our time and energy. Many times, we choose to give away our power by focusing on the past or worrying about the future. Spending time in the past or future only steals our power in the present.

To discover our superpowers, we get to first discover where we are giving away our power. You see, it is all relative. As the saying goes “The one-eyed man is king in the world of the blind”. When the majority of people are giving away their power, by simply becoming aware of where you are doing this, and reclaiming your power, you can be perceived as a superhero among your fellow human travelers.

Be the most authentic and fluid version of who you are, as fluid water never goes stale

Self-doubt and fear can lead you to want to blend in with those around you. But, trying to fit in with the crowd will cause you to disguise who you really are. Be the most authentic version of yourself. Trust that you're mentally strong enough to stand out and dare to be different.

Be flexible like water. You may have plans, schedules, and agendas and that is great and that is very useful. But at some point, things may change, or things may go wrong. Now in those cases, if you stay totally rigid, you’re going to get yourself in trouble. If you are rigid, then you’re going to be like the tree that gets knocked over in a storm as opposed to the grass that just flows.

Detox your mind

Sometimes we don’t realize how much intrusive thoughts, difficult emotions, stressful situations that happen during the day that affects our life.

The average human mind has at least 50,000 thoughts every day, which means you have a new thought about every 1.2 seconds. This is why the human mind is often referred to as the monkey mind.

Here are few ways you can detox your mind, free your mental space for healthier and more positive life:

  • Meditation is an effective way to help detox your mind, calm the monkey mind and enhance your ability to focus.

  • Go for a walk every day without your phone.

  • Ditch your phone one day a week. If that is too much, try a half-day or a four-hour tech-free window once a week.

  • Silence your notifications and phone for a one- or two-hour window every day.

  • Disconnect from electronics 30 minutes before bedtime each night and don’t reconnect until a specified time each morning (i.e. after your workout, meditation, or conversation with spouse.)

  • Designate a room or zone in your house where electronics are not allowed — and have all members of the household stick to those rules.

  • Create conscious intentions around picking up your phone: ask yourself, “Do I really need that info, or do I need something else?”

  • Journal or vent all of the things you want to complain about or challenges you are struggling with to let it all go and detox your mind from those nagging worries. The people that get under your skin, the details that irritate you, and the problems that are in front of you. Unload it all so it does not have to weigh as heavy on your mind. When you’re finished, take a few cleansing breaths and reset your attention on your intention for the new season.

Drop your Ego

Ego is a collection of ideas or identities that we have created for ourselves to fit in the society or vice versa. Since society can itself influence us to become someone, hence, we create an alternative version of ourselves in order to feel a false notion of acceptance or liking. The ego is essentially that little nagging voice in our head that is always telling us that we are not good enough or it can make you think you are better than everyone else. If all its worth ego is not than a false identity that prevents us from becoming best version of ourselves,

We need to admit our worst enemy is our false Ego. It destroys the angel within you. no one realizes how smart the ego is because it created the devil so you can blame someone else. It is dressed in arrogance so tat you can ruin the beautiful life you are blessed with. Our Ego is nothing, but a mental, physical, and emotional coping mechanism developed for dealing with the fear of the end of its own existence. To get rid of false ego,

  • Keep learning. Have more knowledge because lesser the knowledge, more the ego.

  • Be humble.

  • Develop sense of appreciation for others.

  • Be grateful.

  • Be playful.

  • Have fun. When you start taking life as fun, then ego has to die, it cannot exist anymore.

Come out of your comfort zone to grow, transform, and empower yourself

Staying in your comfort zone is like wearing blinders. You will tell yourself that all you care about are the things that are already a part of your life. You will continually convince yourself that you dislike the things you've never tried. They just aren't for you. And with every such thought, you erect thicker walls between yourself and everything that makes you uncomfortable. Take some risks and the walls start coming down. Remember your greatest self as been waiting your whole life; don’t make it wait any longer.

Keep evolving, transforming and empowering yourself !
